A bloke from Cambridgeshire was left stunned after a UFO “bigger than a truck” fell from the sky on his way to work.
Spencer Jackson, 52, from Wisbech, says he was driving along the A142 around 5.25am on Sunday morning (September 8) when a bright silver spacecraft suddenly emerged, causing him to hit the brakes.
He claims the spacecraft fell to the ground “at an angle” near the village of Wimblington before vanishing, was like nothing he’s ever seen before and “wasn’t a plane or a meteor”.
He said: “It was this bright white, almost silver colour – brighter than anything I’ve ever seen.
“It had a silver vapour or a long line of light behind it and then it suddenly vanished.
“It looked as though it was breaking apart as it came down, but then it was nowhere to be seen.
“British Aerospace or the Ministry of Defence must know something – it was so big.”
Spencer who works at a business park near Haverhill, said his colleague, who was travelling in the opposite side of the county also claimed to see a “the long white thing fall [from the sky] and disintegrate”.
Spencer told Cambridgeshire Live he wished he’d had someone in the car with him to get a picture of the object.
After the incident he says people have been laughing at him.
“My wife has been laughing at me, but I’m not mad,” Spencer added.
He has since spent time researching space debris but says nothing he’s seen online described the object he saw.
He added: “The closest thing I’ve seen is something from NASA in 2018, when officials spotted something outside of the earth’s atmosphere.
“I’d be really interested to know if anyone else saw this, or anything similar yesterday.
“My wife said a man in Portsmouth claims to have seen something at around 6am.”
Fenland Cambridgeshire is a known hotspot for UFO sightings.
East Anglia UFO group is said to be investigating this latest sighting.
